My favorite phrase for a long time—and in fact the subtitle of a play I once wrote–was “Cute doesn’t age well,” but it turns out to be totally bogus. Cute ages amazingly!
Proof of this uplifting fact was on display at classic hair-designer-turned-photographer Harry King’s bash at the Gates the other night (cohosted by Nancy Donahue and Patrick McMullan), which brought together scads of ’70s and ’80s models still looking catwalk ready while steadfastly refusing too clobber anyone with a cell phone.
